Before your first appointment
Wear or bring clothing you can train in, and closed-toe shoes. Bring any relevant injury history so your trainer can build the program around it, not around a generic template.

Questions about personal training
The East Vancouver clinic, at 5334 Victoria Dr in Victoria-Fraserview, is the one taking appointments. The second Movement Room clinic at 2337 Main St in Mount Pleasant hasn’t opened yet, so it has no hours and takes no bookings. If Main Street is the location that suits you, the waitlist is how to hear when it opens, and East Vancouver can see you in the meantime.
No. Personal training is a fitness service, not a regulated health treatment, so it isn’t billed to extended health, ICBC, or WorkSafeBC. If you’re recovering from an injury or claim, active rehab or physiotherapy are the treatments those plans cover.
No, personal training can be booked directly. If you have an injury history, mentioning it at booking helps your trainer build the program safely from the first session. If an assessment suggests you need hands-on treatment first, your trainer will say so.
Package options are available for personal training, and pricing depends on session count and length. Call the clinic for current package details and pricing.
Sessions are led by our team of practicing kinesiologists, who bring the same movement and injury-assessment background used in active rehab into a training program built around your goals.
